The Origin of the Business Administration Technology

Established in 2007, the Department of Business Administration Technology aims to prepare technically qualified graduates capable of working across various business sectors and administrative fields related to production operations in industrial and service organizations. The Department offers advanced academic and practical education that keeps pace with the rapid developments in the discipline, including Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS), Just-in-Time (JIT) Production, and Total Quality Management (TQM) and its associated principles and methodologies. Students also study specialized courses in accounting, including Managerial Accounting and Cost Accounting, in addition to management studies, statistics, and computer applications.

Graduates of the Department are qualified to perform a wide range of administrative and accounting responsibilities, with particular expertise in production and operations management and related business activities. They are also equipped with the skills required to effectively utilize computer applications in management and production environments.

As part of the academic program, students are required to complete two practical training periods in government institutions, each lasting one month during the second and third academic years. In addition, every student must complete a graduation project within their area of specialization, which is presented during the fourth academic year.
