Technical Master’s at Northern Technical University Discusses the Contribution of Smart Design to Enhancing Customers’ Interactive Experience

A technical master’s thesis in Business Administration Technologies was discussed at the Administrative Technical College / Mosul, Northern Technical University, by the student Rahma Ghanem Ayoub. The thesis was entitled:

“The Contribution of Smart Design to Enhancing Customers’ Interactive Experience: An Exploratory Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Qi Card Customers in Nineveh Governorate.”

The discussion was held on Tuesday morning, September 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Al-Hikma Hall at the college.

The study aimed to identify the contribution of smart design to enhancing the interactive experience of customers at Qi Card Company by examining the nature of the relationship and impact between the two study variables. Smart design was addressed through the dimensions of user interface, efficiency, ease of use, and design features, while customers’ interactive experience was examined through the dimensions of trust, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and perceived risk.

The study sought to determine how these dimensions contribute to creating an interactive customer experience that supports the achievement of organizational objectives and enhances customer satisfaction.

The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and used a questionnaire as the main instrument for data collection. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 263 Qi Card customers in Nineveh Governorate. The collected data were analyzed and the study hypotheses were tested using SPSS V.26 and AMOS V.24.

The study reached a number of findings, the most notable of which was the existence of a statistically significant correlation and impact between smart design and customers’ interactive experience. This finding confirms the importance of continuously developing electronic applications and software and adopting smart design approaches that are compatible with modern technological requirements and developments, thereby enhancing customer interaction and improving the overall customer experience.

The study recommended continuous attention to the development of electronic applications and services and the adoption of smart design methods that meet customers’ needs and expectations. Such practices can contribute to increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty while strengthening the organization’s ability to compete and maintain its position in the market.
