Under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Administrative College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raafat Asi Hussein Al-Obaidi, the Department of Accounting Technology organized a seminar entitled “Sustainability as a Strategic Choice in Modern Organizations.” The seminar was held as part of the Sustainable Development Program activities of the Quality Assurance Department at the Presidency of Northern Technical University, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division of the College.
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of adopting sustainability as a strategic option in the management of modern organizations and its role in achieving a balance among economic, social, and environmental dimensions in line with the requirements of sustainable development.
The seminar was presented by Lecturer Mahmood Shaaban Khudair, who discussed key concepts related to sustainability in the business environment, mechanisms for integrating sustainability into organizational strategic plans, and practical models that enhance institutions’ ability to adapt to contemporary challenges.
