Educational Objectives

  • Prepare graduates with strong technical competencies in accounting, capable of utilizing artificial intelligence tools and advanced accounting information systems.
  • Continuously update curricula to keep pace with developments in artificial intelligence, digital accounting, and the requirements of sustainable development.
  • Align curricula with labor market demands and international professional education standards (IFRS, IPSAS, and XBRL), while integrating practical applications of digital accounting and financial analysis.
  • Develop an integrated digital accounting education environment within the Department that promotes the use of intelligent analytical tools, sustainability reporting, and electronic disclosure, while preparing graduates capable of supporting financial governance systems and making responsible financial decisions.
  • Promote lifelong learning and foster a culture of innovation among students and faculty members to address accounting challenges in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
  • Support applied research in digital accounting, artificial intelligence, and governance, and encourage publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  • Organize scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops to promote knowledge exchange and the sharing of expertise.
  • Strengthen the Department’s contribution to sustainable development by integrating the concepts of transparency, accountability, and sustainability reporting into academic curricula and community initiatives.
  • Promote professional and ethical awareness regarding the use of artificial intelligence in accounting through awareness programs and community workshops.
  • Develop students’ leadership and professional competencies to enable them to assume effective roles in local and international work environments.
  • Provide advanced training opportunities both within and outside the institution to enhance graduates’ professional readiness.
  • Adopt administrative policies that promote the efficient utilization of resources and support self-financing initiatives.
  • Develop investment plans that enhance the Department’s independence and long-term sustainability.
  • Institutionalize the principles of transparency and good governance in the Department’s academic and administrative management and decision-making processes.
  • Implement monitoring and self-assessment mechanisms to ensure quality performance and institutional accountability.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with labor market institutions and financial technology companies to support training, employment, and the exchange of expertise.
  • Expand international collaboration through academic agreements and student and research exchange programs with regional and international universities.
