Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of Technical Administrative College / Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Raafat Assi Hussein, the College’s Quality Assurance and University Performance Division organised a workshop entitled “The Process of Obtaining ISO Certification.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wijdan Hassan Hammoudi on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, in Al-Hikma Hall.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of ISO certification and its importance in enhancing institutional performance, explain the requirements and criteria for obtaining certification, and highlight the practical steps needed to implement quality management systems in accordance with recognised international standards. These efforts contribute to improving administrative and academic services and strengthening a culture of quality within the institution.
The workshop forms part of the College’s and the University’s efforts to embed the principles of total quality management, enhance institutional performance, and meet accreditation and quality requirements in line with their approved institutional transformation plans.
